Abstract

Este artículo presenta las diferentes formas de integración en las empresas como referencia para el estudio de los nuevos tipos de organizaciones económicas. Se ofrecen algunas razones que determinan la organización de las empresas recurriendo a los conceptos de la empresa de Coase, los costos de transacción, economías de escala y subaditividad de costos. Igualmente, se describen las distintas formas de integración como son la Integración Vertical, la Integración Horizontal y el Conglomerado analizando sus distintas formas de realización, y algunos aspectos económicos que guían a su adopción en las empresas
