Abstract

The veto right at the United Nations is a widely discussed figure as this right does not seem a fair figure regarding the unentitled countries. However, its proven effectiveness since its creation arises as a strong argument and justification upon all those opposing to it. This paper pretends to show some concepts of democracy that will allow analyzing the veto right from different perspectives in order to build a clearer idea around this concept.
