Recognition of indigenous legal systems in international law: a special reference to mexican law. Reality or utopia?

Abstract

The object of this paper is to expound on the legal recognition of indigenous legal systems by the State, such as provided in International Law, and to identify what are the limitations or conditions that the Law, Internal and International, have established reducing its applicability.
