Lack of protection of the international consumer as an adverse situation for the international economic development

Abstract

Due to globalization, concepts like International Consumer have been taking force. Despite of this, there has not been introduced any regulation tending to cover all the rights given to this Consumer in the United Nation directives for consumer protection. This article wants to show the importance of this actor for the economic development; the severity of the consequences that come with his lack of protection; the doctrinal insufficiencies in the topic; and the elements which are necessary to take into account at the time of making proposals for its regulation
