Forced displacement in Colombia: An analysis of the impact of International Law in national law

Abstract

This article studies the forced displacement phenomenon that it is one of the most serious humanitarian crisis in history. Its main objective is to analyze what has been the response given to this situation internationally and nationally.Also determines whether the response of the Colombian government, specifically the Law of Victims and Land Restitution is in line or has been influenced by the norms of international law, in order to discuss the binding power of international standards in an issue that is of national order.
