Abstract

In Colombia, in addition to bleaching, corals suffer impacts due to sediment, infrastructure, pollution and overfishing. Varadero (Cartagena) is an exceptional case of resilience, but there is a project to dredge it. 2018 is the International Year of these ecosystems, a call to prevent its deterioration.
