Abstract
The main objective of this research project was to determine the managerial abilities of university executives. A non experimental descriptive approach was made using a 27-individual, no probabilistic, intentional sample. The results showed that university executives have managerial abilities linked to self-esteem, communication, participation, performance and leadership. Such skills are very propitious to technical, conceptual and human abilities; showing in this way, its validity in decision making at a managerial level.
