Abstract
By studying and reflecting on subtopics such as: Markers identifying youth’s community Ethos, Discomfort among educators caused by youth cultures, A teaching crisis, Pedagogy based on problem solving and cultural studies, and Several educational action lines for a pedagogical approach to manage conflict, this paper aims to analyze conflict between the adult world, personified by teachers, and youth cultures, which are modeled by new technologies, as well as to relate such conflict to pedagogical difficulties and educational crises in institutions. From there on several action lines, meeting points, inclusion and problem-solving are suggested, as a pedagogical alternative that maximizes —in an educational way— the cultural conflicts at stake.
