Distribution and Services Routing Design: Review of the Vehicle Routing Software Available in Colombia

Abstract

This paper presents a review of the vehicle routing software available in Colombia.  First, we present  a literature review, focused on the development of algorithms for routing design and its implementation on software for the decision making process. Second, we identify the main characteristics of transportation management in Colombian logistics systems. Then, we present the characterization of the software products available in the country. Finally, there are conclusions of the study andfuture research opportunities.
