Abstract
The fungus Talaromyces santanderensis, recently found in soil contaminated with cadmium in a cocoa farm in the Monserrate village of the municipality of San Vicente de Chucurí, in Norte de Santander, Colombia. In Universidad EAFIT's laboratories, progress is being made in the microbiological characterization.
