Abstract

Thinking about rural childhood in Colombia requires understanding social fabrics in transformation, which are interwoven with problems such as inequality, armed conflict and insufficient access to basic services, conditioning access to education. Currently, only 1.8% of the rural population has obtained a university degree. Promoting more comprehensive and contextualized learning experiences in rurality will help to compensate for the historical debt it has with the countryside.
