Foreign Policy and International Relations: A theoretical reactivation of their debate

Abstract

The formulation and execution of state Foreign Policy is filled with components and variables. For this motive, the epistemological strengthening of the field and its direct relation to practice have been met with increasing complexity. This work provides the reader with an approach to several authors that attempted to approach the field froma theoretical perspective and who set the path in which this important are of political decision making moves. In addition, this work is the starting point of a broader work on Foreign Policy Analysis as an area of International Relations which has not been explored in detain in Colombia.
