Abstract
In 2023, the Mexican Publisher Gris tormenta has published Gerald Murnane’s Last Letter to a Reader, originally published two years earlier. It is a compilation of more than a dozen essays in which the author reviews his career through his books to reflect on the exercise of reading and creation and returning to topics such as literary creation and returning to topics such as literary creation, the role of fiction in the life of the writer and his relationships with his editors, writing, family and environment.
