Evaluation to pilot plant scale of the industrial process for obtaining essential oil of cardamom, under the philosophy of "zero emissions"

Abstract

This study describes a simple and economic method for the extraction of essential oils under zero emissions philosophy. The design and operation of the equipment is presented. The results showed the possibility of get a 5% yield of the essential oil of cardamom seeds, which is in agreement with the bibliography.
