Reflections about politics and law

Abstract

The progressive transformation that is shaping the traditional structure on which the modern states have been based on up to date, seems to be decisively influenced by the changes that the globalization is inciting economically, politically and juridically throughout the world. In terms of democracy, the above-mentioned alterations result especially relevant when observing how the inertia we allude to seems to be based on the search for security against the enemy. Bearing in mind the previous statement, the political system contained in the texts of human/fundamental rights regarding the human dignity, is trying to be made more flexible up to a point where the risk of change is present. In the preparation of this essay we modestly try to rationalize this subject. However, if we cannot contribute to its explanation, at least we want to motivate towards its study and reflection respecting the principles of democracy.
