Comprehensive policy for the criminal protection of intellectual property on the Internet.

Abstract

The new telecommunications technologies under the principles of the information society, have led us to a digital age that demands answers to the new challenges in all normative orders, and neither criminal dogmatic nor criminal policy are unrelated to this development, this paper will analyze the particular phenomenon of criminal involvement in the protection of intellectual property online, in terms of criminal policy. New technologies and its constant evolution, facilitate a massive fraud of intellectual property rights and that, in feeling of some, having great difficulty in the identification of authors and big losses for the industry, and in feeling of others, generates more rules even extra criminal character to try to contain the attacks against the sacrifice of individual rights, identifying a clear tendency towards a criminal or social policy of global character can face the phenomenon.
