Abstract

Human resources management has acquired significant importance as people have become the most sustainable competitive advantage. As a result of research done in the International School of Economical and Managerial Sciences of the Universidad de la Sabana, a first version of the Organizational matrix for employee process measurement is presented. The objects of study are the basic employee processes and a sample of flower growing companies operating in the vicinity of the University: Chía, Cundinamarca, Colombia. Only with an adequate human resource strategy correctly aligned with the company’s corporate strategy a better use of human resources can be achieved. Therefore, developing employee process impact measuring tools, to aid decision making for company executives is necessary.
