Abstract
A review of Eduardo Ramirez Villamizar's experience in Cuba during the II International Sculpture Symposium in 1988 and the III Havana Biennial in 1989 using bibliographical and archival research as well as interviews to establish the mechanisms by which the artist traveled to the island and the impact caused by Ramirez Villamizar's work.
