Abstract

Remote  laboratories  have become a topic of great interest  for  the scientific and academic communities dedicated to e-learning and the use of Information Technologies for teaching. Therefore the design and implementation of a web platform for remote control and management of laboratories in educational institutions is important in the context of teaching and scientific collaboration.  This paper presents the implementation of a web platform for remote laboratories of advanced physical instrumentation in which tools are provided for the different stages of laboratory use such as: experiment booking, content and device access and laboratory management. This platform serves as a base for the expansion of remote access to laboratories in Colombia using the internet and other high-speed academic networks.
