Abstract
Since the emergence of the accreditation system, an improvement environment has been felt in Colombian higher education institutions. Proof of this are the actions established by academic institutions and their programs in order to regain energy, restore and improve themselves after all the self-evaluations of the accreditation process. This article shows the way in which institutional and self-evaluations have been carried out at EAFIT University and how the improvement plans have been implemented, a process that is definitively important in the search for continuous improvement.
