Abstract
The testimony of the cob is an allegory about selective crops and the domestication of species in agriculture, which has influenced the development of civilizations and the conformation of the food base of today's society. Presenting the contrary perspectives of the farmer and the plants, it is criticized how this domestication process has occurred and the benefits or consequences it has brought with it.
