Risk management in a massive load transportation company

Abstract

The Transportation company that is the object of this project is Colombiana de Distribución Ltda., this company was chosen because it is a company that does not have a formal and ordered system for risk evaluation, to select the strategies that give treatment to the risks that this company faces in loading, movement, and unloading operations. The methodology used for the development of the project starts with a risk inspection, which is the starting point to identify and classify them, in order to evaluate and analyze these through the technique of Risk analysis and vulnerability “AR&V”, from which the risk profiles of the company were obtained, this is the basis for the selection of strategies for the treatment of the risks involved in the previously mentioned operations.
