Random search algorithm applied to the design of double sampling plans

Abstract

Non conventional optimization methods allow to find very good solutions for almost any problem, regardless of its complexity. This article proposes a random search algorithm for designing double sampling plans, and the results are then compared with those obtained through traditional methods given in technical literature.
