Abstract

A new compound NaFe2(MoO4)2(OH).H2O has been synthesized by hydrothermal method. The phase was identified as ƒ³x starting from the powder X-ray diffraction pattern. Characterization was carried out assisted by thermogravimetric analysis, atomic absorption and scanning electronic microscopy. Data crystallographic were determined from X-ray pattern. The result was a monoclinic cell with space group C2/m, and cell parameters a = 9,420762, b = 6,345030, c = 7,574624, A and ƒÀ = 116,0368o, with unit cell volume of V = 452,7733 A3.
