Abstract

The current competitive challenge requires the industrial organizations to define an operation strategy in order to adequately satisfy the client’s needs. In this sense, this article shows the results of a study carried out in 15 Colombian clothing companies, based in the use of expert methods and multi-criteria techniques, that enabled, on one hand, to define a set of objectives for the operation functions oriented towards the North American market, and on the other hand, to build an indicator to establish the position of a company against the demands of such market, in multure and complete package development business.
