Abstract

The technologies of the information and this communication, when inserted in the world of university education, generate deep changes in the dynamics of the daily classes, as well as in their formal and methodological exposition. For that reason it becomes necessary to reflect and discuss the role of the teacher and his/her methodology in virtual and/or semipresential environments.
The article has been developed from a visit of the author to the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona . Spain in September 2001, and from the interchange of experiences with teachers that use technological platforms as instruments for virtual education-learning processes.
