Cinema and privacy

Abstract

This article is the final work made for the subject Research Seminar 1, last course of the basic cycle of the option in Cultural Studies of the Humanities College of the EAFIT University.

Basing my work on the essay La Intimidad, which means "privacy",by the Spanish philosopher José Luis Pardo I have analyzed the concept of privacy through six axioms that define it. These axioms are illustrated by means of different circumstances. This has allowed me, on the one hand, to explain the concept as well as the principal assumption developed by Pardo in his book and, on the other hand, to show how privacy is bound to art and in this particular case to cinema.
