Abstract

Each day, every company faces great challenges seeking to be more competitive. One of the strategies used to fullfill these challenges consists on  establishing a Quality Management System based on the International ISO-9000 Standards. This process, which does not discriminate the type or size of the enterprise, has become an authentic exercise in order to re-think and re-organize a company. As part of this process, a guide for enterprises is presented, independent of the organization´size and area it deals with. This guide permits a clear, concise, and structured methodology which allows the company to implement a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9000:2000 Standards.
