Implementación de una interfaz gráfica para el estudio de propiedades de magnetotransporte en bicapas de manganitas tipo perovskita

Resumen

En este trabajo se presenta un estudio de algunas propiedades de magnetotransporte de bicapas de manganitas ferromagnéticas/antiferromagnéticas (FM/AF) de La 2/3 Ca 1/3 MnO 3 / La 1/3 Ca 2/3 MnO 3 . Este estudio se llevó a cabo empleando el método de Monte Carlo, combinado con el modelo de Drude y Kronig-Penney. Para realizar estas simulaciones se desarrollaron interfaces gráficas que permitieron una interacción amigable con el usuario y además, observar el proceso de las simulaciones en tiempo real. Se obtuvieron resultados de resistividad y magnetorresistencia en función de la temperatura y del campo magnético externo aplicado. Las curvas de resistividad en función de la temperatura presentaron un mínimo alrededor de la temperatura de canteo y un máximo alrededor de la temperatura de Curie, TC. Se observó una disminución en la resistividad y un aumento en la magnetorresistencia con el aumento de campo magnético externo. Por otro lado, las curvas de resistividad en función de la temperatura mostraron una simetría para valores positivos y negativos de campos magnéticos. Además, a bajas temperaturas, por debajo de TC , la resistividad presentó un desdoblamiento produciéndose dos máximos y formado ciclos de histéresis.
