From a Slip of Paper to a Children's University

Abstract

The Children's University was created in 2005 by a team led by Juan Luis Mejía Arango, rector of the EAFIT University, and Ana Cristina Abad, former director of the then Department of Communications and Culture of this institution. In its 15-year history, this program has consolidated a methodology based on questions, play, experiential learning and conversation that constitutes an innovative model in science education and communication with great potential for social transformation.
