History of Entrepreneurship in EAFIT

Abstract

The development reached by EAFIT University entrepreneurs is synthetically presented in this paper. A historical review of entrepreneurship in EAFIT from its beginnings until today is also developed. Some research results are included to present the entrepreneurs development since 1999. Likewise, a historical overview of Colombian entrepreneurs is set out in order to contextualize Colombian entrepreneurs in relation to their antecedents and also as a prelude to what has happened in this field since the end of 1999, year in which the idea of creating an entrepreneurial program in EAFIT University was conceived.
