Abstract
The method proposed by Juan Hessen in 1948 to delimit the meanings and references of terms and concepts, is intended to gain access to three basic designators, which may constitute the dissertation that sustains the disciplines conformed by administrative knowledge, these designators are of plural nature. Etimological meanings are used and then the uses in their corresponding historical contexts, specifically referring to the Colombian case are taken into account, thereafter definitions from different authors are compared in order to find the common elements. Assisted by the abovementioned method, definitions with a single meaning for the referred terms are eventually proposed.
