Abstract

The nations concern when trying to approach digital inclusion processes is commonly focused in the implementation and access to information and communication technologies (ICT) regarding coverage, amount, and quality of the equipment.

Although, these aspects contribute to the identification of some technological development circumstances, they do net report the implications that are related to the individual, which can be observed through his feelings, knowledge, and performance.

This article focuses around the implications of the ICT insertion in a rural context, to value its impact from the perspective of social development; and to recognize the levels of preparation of these communities toward the demands of globalization.
