Resumen
La presente investigación aborda la importancia del uso de la diplomacia científica como herramienta de política internacional bajo una aproximación de lo que se ha denominado como poder blando, mismo que ha sido utilizado particularmente por potencias medias emergentes, como lo es la República de Corea (en adelante Corea), teniendo como caso de estudio la estrategia de política exterior para la cooperación científica y tecnológica implementada entre el Instituto Avanzado de Ciencia y Tecnología de Corea (KAIST por siglas en inglés) con algunos países prioratos en África y América Latina.
