Abstract

This article describes some results of the “E-Learning Technology Management” research developed at EAFIT University in 2004. These results have been assumed from different aspects, beginning with the concept itself, with the intention to generate an understanding of the terminology and to characterize the different perspectives of its usage. Based on this element, a recognition process of the relations that are formed between each one of the E-Learning components is developed, both from the point of view of specifications and standards, and its administration. This process shows the particularities regarding content objects management and the interactions from their pedagogical, didactic, and communicative intention, all these in the contexts of technology assisted teaching and learning.
